Community Childminding Program
Today’s Family values its work with community partners and believes that together we are better.
In partnership with community groups, we offer childminding services to help remove barriers for families, allowing them to fully participate in community events, programs, and services.
We offer community-based childminding that is:
- High-quality
- Affordable and accessible to families
- Inclusive
- Offered in spaces that are low-barrier, low or no cost, inclusive, accessible, and open to the community
Our Early Childhood Educators are qualified and highly skilled in the work they do with children and families. They believe in and implement Ontario’s early years pedagogy, “How Does Learning Happen?”, a foundations-based model focused on play-based learning for children.
During childminding, our environments are set-up with care and intention to maintain a high-level of quality that children deserve.

Multi-Year Accessibility Plan
This 2020 to 2025 accessibility plan outlines the policies and actions that Today’s Family will put in place to improve opportunities for people with disabilities in accordance with the requirements communicated under the Integrated Accessibility Standards, Ontario Regulation 191/11.
Today’s Family strives to meet the needs of its staff and clients with disabilities and is working hard to remove and prevent barriers to accessibility.
